There will be an encrypted, anonymity-protected internet broadcast of
the 2010 International Convention Opening Flag Ceremony. Access will be
available at www.aa.org beginning Saturday, July 3 and will
continue until midnight (EST) Monday, July 5. Access is unlimited and
no passwords or access codes are needed.
Please announce at A.A. meetings and pass this information along to
those unable to travel to San Antonio for the International Convention.
The Opening Flag Ceremony is a very impressive display of A.A.’s global
reach. A.A. members from countries around the world carry their
nation’s flag in a brief parade at the opening meeting on Friday night.
Dozens and dozens of countries are announced to cheers from the A.A.s
in attendance.
